​Welcome to Jungle Trails Homestay, a quiet retreat nestled deep in the forests of Taldem, a sleepy village in South Goa. We're not just another place to stay — we're a family, a home, and a part of the land we live on.
Our Story
This homestay began as a simple idea: to share the peace and beauty of our village with those seeking something real. No neon signs, no party crowds — just the sounds of the forest, home-cooked Goan food, and the warmth of village hospitality.

We the women of the Brahmani Self Help group have lived on this land for generations. We’ve grown up listening to the cicadas at dusk, watching the monsoon turn the hills lush green, and learning which herbs grow wild after the rains. We built Jungle Trails not as a business, but as a way to invite travellers into this way of life.

Located on the boundary of Bhagwan Mahaveer Wildlife Sanctuary and a few kms from the iconic 13th century Mahadev Temple of Tambdi-Surla, the homestay opens up immense possibilities to the travelers seeking to connect with mother nature.​
Why We Do This
We believe in slow mornings, sumptuous breakfast, good conversation, and the healing power of nature. We wanted to create a space where guests can unplug, unwind, and experience Goa beyond the beaches — in its villages, forests, food, and people.

The homestay is a traditional mud house with cowdung smeared floor and blends naturally with the environment.

We compost, avoid plastic, and source ingredients locally from our farms and the forest.

We support local artisans and guides by weaving them into our guest experiences.
